I've been HIV+ for over 20 years now. I don't attribute my longer than expected life to drugs and doctors visits. Nope, I attribute much of my well being to taking the initiative to work on being healthy.

That includes exercising on a regular basis, meditation, keeping stress down (I don’t watch the news or read the newspaper, what doesn’t affect me directly doesn’t need to stress me out).  I take supplements and I eat wholesome foods containing low amounts of sodium, no hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oil, low as possible cholesterol and when I can get it RAW foods including milk and butter.  I drink Raw milk on a regular basis and when I cook I use raw butter or ghee only.  I use allot of olive oil and grapeseed oil and a bit of raw coconut oil too (it’s sweet nature is good with oatmeal, instead of butter).  This world is so wrapped around the axle about fast, easy and gotta taste good, it’s pathetic.  Well you can have all that but you have to take the time to reprogram yourself to what’t really good for you as well as what tastes good or agrees with your body the best.

I’m thankful for every day I’m alive and doing well.  I don’t put my doctors up on pedestals, they are my partners in my journey of well being.  Mine in particular doesn’t understand why I do what I do but he agrees that my blood work is some of the best of all his 200 patients (all HIV+).  So tell me…. do you think RAW milk is that unsafe, that a man with progressive HIV, who has continuous fabulous blood work every other month should go back to drinking the overly processed “safe” swill they sell at Safeway??  Hell no.  Leave my Raw milk and my body decisions up to me.  It’s my body and last time I checked cows are the ones producing the raw milk and if I want to drink it, that’s my business!!
