It was only because of the availability of milk from Organic Pastures and Claravale Farm that my child was spared from the discomfort of having to ingest commercial baby formula.
We had tried to give her formula for about 6 weeks during which time she immediately developed diaper rashes and became susceptible to viruses. Once she was on the raw milk, her rashes disappeared and she was virus free. Other people often commented on how our child never seemed to get sick.
I currently use raw milk to make my own kefir at home. It is a critical staple in our home and lives. We actively support the right of all Americans to make their own health care and food choices. Raw milk must remain as an option for the families of this country. We support the development of all local and preferably organic agricultural products and will vote for representatives who share our view.
